How to Reactivate (Optimized) Smartbro Green Packet Modem

Today you will learn how to configure, at the same time optimize your Smartbro Green Packet indoor modem for free. This tutorial is for educational purposes only. Before anything else let me share to you  a brief info about Green-packet.

Green-packet is one of the leading developer of Next Generation mobile broadband and networking solutions, unveiled its exciting new range of wimax compliant modems. Is originated on Kuala Lumpur Malaysia last September 2011 it is now now by most companies who provide internet services to people because of its cheap and affordable price range. It has a feature of wireless connectivity that is perfect for wireless connectivity for home and small office usages.

So lets start and have fun.

Things you need:

1. A Green-packet modem.
2. Technitium Mac Address Changer which can be downloaded for here here Click to Download.
3. Angry  IP Scanner. Download it here Click to Download

Information about free tools we will be using:

Technitium MAC Address Changer allows you to change (spoof) Media Access Control (MAC) Address of your Network Interface Card (NIC) irrespective to your NIC manufacturer or its driver. It has a very simple user interface and provides ample information regarding each NIC in the machine. Every NIC has a MAC address hard coded in its circuit by the manufacturer. This hard coded MAC address is used by windows drivers to access Ethernet Network (LAN). This tool can set a new MAC address to your NIC, bypassing the original hard coded MAC address. Technitium MAC Address Changer is a must tool in every security professionals tool box.

Angry IP Scanner (or simply ipscan) is an open-source and cross-platform network scanner designed to be fast and simple to use. It scans IP addresses and ports as well as has many other features.
It is widely used by network administrators and just curious users around the world, including large and small enterprises, banks, and government agencies.
It runs on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X, possibly supporting other platforms as well. 

Steps:

1. Open your modem browser.

2.  Look for your WAN IP address.

3. Open angry ip scanner and input your Wan Ip.

Example: Your Wan IP is 10.9.43.201 so your IP is 10.9.xx.xx to 10.9.254.255.

4.Input your Wan Ip to your Angry IP scanner like 10.9.0.1 to 10.9.254.255 press start.

5. Wait until you see a Green Dot and press Ctrl+2.

For the Default Admin password of the green dots you scanned:

Motorola Smartbro
password : motorola

Smartbro
username : admin
password : admin

Mybro
username : smart
password : smart

HOME PLDT & Smart
username : smart
password : smart

Note: If you cannot open it with the given passwords, continue scanning.

6. Once  you open some of it.Look for the Mac address and right it down.

7. Open TMACv6, click Local Area Connection input the mac you scanned on Change Mac address then click change now.

Note: If the Mac Address of your modem is the old mac address restore factory default your modem and perform the step no. 7.

If you successfully changed the mac address of your modem, meaning you already configured it right and congrats.!

Note: all of this are possibly working to other green-packet modems.

Full Tutorial on Generating Mac Address Effectively using Mac Address Table Part 1

Good Day! Today you will learn different ways on how to generate MAC address manually using MAC address table. This method is usually used by end-users who do not have enough time generating so many mac address using mac generator tools which usually give thousands of result when used. Mac address table gives you complete 1 series of a mac address. A total of 256 different mac address in one series. I can say that this method is more effective and less time consuming.So lets start.!


Things you need:
1. 1 piece of working mac address.
2. Mac address table.
3. MS paint (for  guide).



Steps:
1. Analyze your mac address. Example, you have a mac address 00:21:07:00:64:E2.
2. Given that "64" is the second to the last 2 digit of your mac address,find the figure on the Mac address table and highlight the figure.in my case I will put a red square on the "64" figure.

3. Now highlight the column where "64" located, in my case I will highlight it with color green. Refer to the image for reference.

As you can see, 60-6F is the value you can use to replace "64" example.00:21:07:00:65:E2,00:21:07:00:66:E2, 00:21:07:00:67:E2 and so fort.

4. Highlight again the "64", this time highlight the "row" in my case I will use color blue.

As you can see 04-F4 is highlighted, this will also guide you in formulating the mac address using 00:21:07:00:64:E2 series.

5. Figure 70 to F3 is the most possible series working mac we have. To understand more refer to the next image.

 

6. As we recall, our mac source is 00:21:07:00:64:E2, now we can formulate mac address series by looking in the yellow box. We can formulate.

00:21:07:00:64:72
00:21:07:00:64:73
to
00:21:07:00:64:F3

a total of  30 series to be exact. If you will try this 30 pieces of mac series you will know that this process is so effective. You do not have to consume so many, wasting electricity and loosing patience.

Note: This process is usually used when the to the last figure of our mac address is inside our green (column) and  blue (row).

Tutorial on how to Make Public VIP Mac Address stable Part 2

Hello! Today I will teach you another trick to make your public VIP mac stable. This will help you being disconnected because we all know that there are a lot of people using this public VIP mac. This tutorial can either be useful to you or not. Sometimes it can work well and sometimes it not that effective. The point is you will have another alternative on how to use your mac address and at the same use other resources to experiment.It depends also to your device and location because this trick as you can see may also being used by other people as yo are readsing this trick. There are no harm or risks in using this trick so nothing to worry.



Steps:
1. Change 1st your mac address using any working unstable  public VIP mac using restore default procedure.

How to know if it still working and just unstable?? After changing mac address using restore default and configuring its right domain, you should at least see BSID number. If it see BSID, you can use that mac address.

2. Go to the default IP address of your device, for me its 192.168.254.1, log in as admin.

3. Go to Wimax>under NAI change the mac address to a generated mac address password.

HOW??

You need a stable mac, paste the stable mac to your admin password generator and copy and paste it to your NAI.

Example: your stable mac address is 00:21:07:87:99:A9
and you generated mac address is 2008x2C6tVTAIMWz , click apply and wait to connect.

Tutorial on how to Make Public VIP Mac Address stable

Hello! Today I will teach you on how to make your unstable VIP  mac address stable. Most of us dont know how to use vip mac address in our wimax devices. We only know how to change mac address and change domains. We dont event think of the word "frequency". But this is the most important thing for our devices. Frequency stands a very important part because it is where we can connect our device's internet speed. We can easy connect to such frequency automatically but we dont notice that some frequencies has speed capping and some also makes our devices unstable. Most of the devices when restored to default has 7 kinds of frequencies they are:

DL Frequency[1] 2507500KHz
DL Frequency[2] 2602000KHz
DL Frequency[3] 2612000KHz
DL Frequency[4] 2638000KHz
DL Frequency[5] 2622000KHz
DL Frequency[6] 2505000KHz
DL Frequency[7] 2510000KHz

We usually get connected to frequency 2622000 even without antenna it is because 2622000 is the most common frequency among the 6. When we are connected to this frequency we hardly get disconnected. It is because it offers capping that balances the mac address speed not to go beyond 3mbps or sometimes not go beyond 2mbps (specially on peak hours) It is called load balancing.

When using a VIP mac, The most important thing is we should connect to the right frequency, no matter what the domain combinations are, it do not matter. But as we use a public  VIP mac address that we all know thousands of users using it, We tend to disconnect to the internet. So today I will teach you how to use Public VIP mac to make it stable always.

Steps:
1. Access your modem by typing the default IP address, in my case its 192.168.254.1
2. log in as user:user and generate your mac address and generate you admin password using the tools.
(Im sure you have many admin password generator when you are reading this so no need to provide you one.)
3. Log in as Admin.
4.Go to Wimax and click scan set. There you will see the 7 frequencies. Delete other frequencies except frequency 2602000 and 2622000. Click apply. There you go.! That makes your Public VIP mac stable.

REASONS:
As you browse the internet, you will be connected to frequency 2622000 as default. then if you will download files, you will automatically reconnect to frequency 2602000 this system will allow globe network to automatically executive load balancing.

The process is called load balancing. So enjoy .! Hope you learned something today.!

Full Tutorial on how to reconnect a Disconnected Globe DSL Modem

IMPORTANT: This tutorial is for educational purposes only.

This tutorial covers hows to reconnect your disconnected Globe DSL modem and How to get active DSL account online by scanning online.

IMPORTANT: You can reconnect you disconnected modem IF the Modem is still PLUGGED in Globe DSL Cabinet. You  can also borrow to your friends or relative if you don't have one. If you do not know what does it look like, Google it :)

Since you dont have internet connection, you can rent at least 1 hour to a computer shop to get an account or if you have other alternative accessing the internet then its better.

Things you need.

1. Angry IP scanner software (http://sourceforge.net/projects/ipscan/files/ipscan3-binary/3.2/ipscan-win32-3.2.exe)
2. Browser ( Recommended: Internet Explorer)
3. xpass explorer (Download it here: http://www.scanwith.com/x-pass_download.htm)

Steps on how to get DSL accounts:

1. Plug in your DSL modem and go to start menu, then click run.type cmd and press enter key

2.Type ipconfig and press Enter

 assuming you have 192.168.254.1, write it down cause this will help you get a working DSL account.

This time you need to go to a computer shop to rent or use your alternative internet connection to do the next step.


3. Run Angry IP Scanner. In our case. the IP is 192.168.254.1 you need to input it to Angry IP scanner as
192.168.254.1-192.168.254.255. Just change the last digit "1" to "255" then click start.

while scanning, you will see green DOTS. click the green DOT and press Ctrl+2 to open it to a new window. once you see this kind of window,

Congrats you now have a active account which you can use to reactivate you disconnected DSL modem.


Steps on getting the Account Info of the scanned active DSL acccount.

1. Copy the IP address of the scanned DSL account to your INTERNET EXPLORER browser.
2. Click "interface setup"
3. Browse and look for username and password.
4. Run the xpass explorer you downloaded earlier.
5. Click the "X" and drag it to the "password" to reveal the hidden password. ( You must do this only for internet explorer because the x-pass explorer is only working on internet explorer browser.)

Copy the username and password because it will be used for the reactivation of you disconnected DSL modem.

Steps on reactivating your Disconnected DSL Modem:

1. Connect your Disconnect DSL model.
2.Go to Start, Click Run, and type ipconfig.
3.Get your default IP (refer to the previous steps)
4. Open a browser and paste your IP address your browser.
5. Click "interface setup"
6. Look for username and password and supply the user name and password you scanned previously.
7. Apply it and enjoy.!
